न्यूयॉर्क शहर के मेयर एरिड एडम्स ने गुरुवार को ये घोषणा कि के साल 2023 से अब न्यूयॉर्क के स्कूल में दीवाली पर छुट्टी रहेगी. वहीं एरिक के इस फैसले पर इंस्टाग्राम के जरिए प्रियंका चोपड़ा ने अपना रिएक्शन दिया है.


प्रियंका की आंखों से निकले खुशी के आंसू

अपने इंस्टाग्राम स्टोरी पर प्रियंका चोपड़ा ने न्यूयॉर्क स्टेट असेंबली की सदस्य जेनिफर राजकुमार का एक वीडियो शेयर किया है, जिसमें जेनिफर कहती हैं- “साल 2023 से न्यूयॉर्क शहर के स्कूल में सार्वजनिक छुट्टी होगी. "हमारा समय आ गया है. समय आ गया है न्यूयॉर्क के 2 लाख से अधिक हिंदू, बौद्ध, सिख और जैन धर्मों के लोगों को पहचानने का, जो दीवाली का त्योहार मनाते हैं.”

इस वीडियो को शेयर करते हुए प्रियंका ने कैप्शन में लिखा, “कई सालों के बाद क्वीन्स में रहने वाली मेरी टीनेज खुशी के आंसू रो रही है. प्रतिनिधित्व मायने रखता है.”

देश हो या दुनिया हर कोई इन दिनों दिवाली के जश्न में डूबा हुआ है। न्यू यॉर्क सिटी के पब्लिक स्कूल में अगले साल से दिवाली के मौक़े पर स्कूल पर छुट्टी होगी। इस एक्टर प्रियंका चोपड़ा (Priyanka Chopra) ने रिएक्टर करते हुए इंस्टाग्राम स्टोरी शेयर की है। प्रियंका चोपड़ा की स्कूलिंग अमेरिका में ही हुई है और उन्होंने स्कूलों में दिवाली की छुट्टी पर भावुक पोस्ट शेयर किया है। उन्होंने ने एक वीडियो को रिपोस्ट किया है, जिसमें न्यू यॉर्क सिटी के मेयर दिवाली के मौक़े पर अगले साल से पब्लिक स्कूल में छुट्टी का ऐलान कर रहे हैं।
